I will PAY $100 to ANYONE who can HELP ME!!!

We have 15 computers on a network with a file server.
When I upgraded to XP (from 2000), the wizard
automatically created a network bridge. Then I manually
entered my IP address, gateway, subnet and DNS info. I
also created a Local Connection manually. Now I have
THREE connections when I open Network Connections? Do I
need the network bridge? My computer connects to the
network BUT I have frequent connection problems. Many
times each day my computer "freezes" when trying to save
or open a file to the network. I WILL GIVE $100 TO ANYONE
WHO CAN SOLVE THIS PROBLEM!! This is NOT a joke. I need
this problem solved and I'm willing to PAY $100 TO ANYONE
who can help me. I will mail a $100 check immediately
after the problem is resolved. Thanks for any help.

You don't need the bridge unless you actually want to join
2 or more networks (represented by each of your NICs)
through the PC with the bridge installed on. You can
disabled the bridge by right clicking it and disabling it
or through its properties.
Please be more specific about the OS in the server and in
the other PCs, and what type of disconnections you get.
Hope this helps.
