I want to apply a sound for new incoming emails

I want to apply a sound for new incoming emails I have Microsaft Office 2003
Edition Student/Teacher addition package.

Control Panel->Sounds and Multimedia->Sounds tab->pick your .wav for new
mail notifications.

Outlook, Tools->options->Other->Advanced->Reminder options.

No this did not work, i can hear the chimes in the control panel, but nothing
when mail comes in. I have an XP dec 2004 and office ed 2003 program - any
other suggestions please. wolfflow

Do you have a rule that moves the message to a subfolder?

Sorry i have only have computer 3 months, do not know what to do about rules
yet. I know its there but don't know how to set them. I only wanted sound for
my incoming emails. I will need a lesson. wolfflow

Hi back again, The rules-alert box is not highlighted in the program, can't
change anything. Paid $300 for this OFFICE 2003 program 11/3/2005. All i want
is a sound for incoming emails. wolfflow
