I need to format cell as email address

Sometimes when I type an email address it is recognized as such and I can
click on it and send an email but sometimes it is not recognized as an email
address.

Is there a way to format a cell after an email address has been typed so it
will recognize it as an email address???

The solution lies in the underlying table behind the query or form you may
be using. And if you are using a table, the solution still applies.

In design view of the table select the field represeting the column or field
you enter your email addresses into and set the data type to 'Hyperlink'.

When entering an email address in a field - if it is not recognized as an
email address, remove the contents, then right-click and choose 'Insert
Hyperlink'. Follow the couple steps and presto you are fixed and back on the
road.
