I keep getting this error.....

This doesn't happen on everything I install but it
happens fequently.

When I try to install a program I get this error.

"An install support file could not be installed.
Catastrophic Failure."

Then the installation stops in it's tracks after I close
that window. I get this error a lot all of a sudden. It
is happening to things I installed before without any
problems. I even went back the the website where I got
the program and re downloaded a fresh copy of the program
but I still get the same error.

Any help solveing this will be greatly appreciated!!
