Now I'm getting an error box popping up on some of the
things I'm trying to install. I've used these install
files before just fine, I even downloaded new ones but
still can't install because I keep getting this error:
"An installation support file could not be installed.
Catastrophic Failure."
Then it closes my attempted install down once I click "OK"
What I've already tried, all unsucessfull:
System Restore (no changes were made)
Scanned for viruses (found none)
Repairing Windows (still getting same error)
Downloaded new installation files (same error still)
Checked Microsoft Knowledge base (found nothing)
Searched the web (found nothing)
Posted here 3 times (no solution and only one response)
Any help will be greatly honored!!
