My daughter is getting a lot of error messages referring to wmiprvse.exe.
She is now unable to install the new version NAV, and it appears related to
the wmi errors.
My questions are these:
If I send her my *working* copy of wmiprvse.exe (same operating system) and
she renames her *apparently non working* file to something else, then uses
mine instead:
1. will it possibly help?
2. is it possible that our wmi files are different and might then lead to
some kind of catastrophic failure that will not allow her to reboot or open
windows on next boot, as can happen if a registry item goes bad?
