i got 3dfxvsm.dll trouble

this is a haunting expeariance for a new comer to forums and computers. i got a major system error come up three times now with regars this subject. the ol beast keeps going down in moments or days , and says its due to the 3dfxvsm.dll not being recognised anylonger. is this a problem with the card or the drivers , can somone please advise. if its the drivers , i would love to know what to install , to get it bk up to scratch . i got windows xp, ty for any help you can give.

You do realise that 3dfx is not oficially supported and has not been in quite a number of years!

thanks, i might get a new vid card at some point. but i wanted this one up and running for as long as poss, they went out with the bancruptsy queen and bottomed out soon after she split, around 2001, but hey , cant blame a guy for trying.
