I get X's where pictures should be

Started a couple of days ago.
Worked ok for months.
Using: Windows98 and IE 6
 
Try Internet Explorer/Tools/Internet Options/Advanced tab/ scroll down to
"Show Picture" put a check mark in the box. It has a way of unchecking
itself now and then.
