I forgot to SAVE!!

I was typing in a Word document(which I had already started working on) and
when I closed it, it asked me if I wanted to save the changes I had made.
Not thinking I clicked no!! Is there anyway to get that work back? I would
really appreciate any help from anyone!!!!!!!!!

Won't word recover a document? Or is that only when it's closed abruptly?

There will be temporary files created in the same directory as the document and in the temp directory. They have probably been deleted. A undelete program MAY allow access to the text you typed, you won't get formatting. Just depends if the text ever got written to hard drive or not.

Hi,

I suppose you using really powerful data recovery tool to restore. In
my opinion, Active@ Undelete or Uneraser (for DOS) are the best. They
never failed me before and worked really great. None of restored files
were ever corrupted. You should definately try it out.
