I have looked through previous posts and tried search, but not found a
specific answer to this - if there already is one, I apologise in advance.
My daughter got her new PC at Xmas, and set up an ISP (Tiscali Pay As You
Go) with one of the manufacturer built-in desktop sign-up options.
Although she has no complaint about Tiscali's service, as she had an
existing Wanadoo email address (her only email address), she asked me to
change her ISP to Wanadoo Pay As You Go, which I did.
So that she could manage her mail through Outlook Express, I set up a
Wanadoo mail account in OE (as the default one of course as she has no other
email accounts).
Problem 1 - even though she connects using Wanadoo, she cannot SEND her mail
from OE. Is this because of problem 2? If not, any ideas as to why?
Problem 2 - her IE browser says "Microsoft Internet Explorer - supplied by
Tiscali". To remove the "...supplied by Tiscali" bit, should she 'repair IE
from 'Add/Remove Windows Components' in 'Add or Remove Programs'? If not,
what should she do?
Many thanks in advance.
