I downloaded Office 2003 Service Pack 2. Now Excel will not open

I downloaded Office 2003 service pack 2 update. The next time I tried to
open Excel it would not open.

Any ideas how to fix this?

Run detect and repair from the Help menu of any Office app. You will need
the original disk(s)
