Opening Excel 2007 files in Excel 2002

I'm trying to open a file that was created in Excel 2007 format, in Excel
2002. What do I need to do to open this file? I'm running Microsoft XP
Version 2002 Service Pack 3.

Thank you,

I installed the Compatability Pack, but am now getting this:

Windows Installer:
Another version of this product is already installed. Installation of this
version cannot continue. To configure or remove the existing version, of
this product, use Add / Remove programs on the Control Panel.

Then I must choose OK. I get another error: Installation of this package
failed.

What would I need to remove?
I have: Microsoft Office Outlook 2003, Microsoft Office XP Professional &
Windows XP Service Pack 3. I don't want to disable my Outlook if I remove
the one above. It is my emailing program. Any suggestions as to what to do
next?

Your first information was VERY helpful. Thanks!

Melinda, noticed your posting by chance (it's always best to do another
separate posting so your new question gets noticed).

Just remove the previous Compatibility Pack (it should be a separate program
and will not affect any of the others that you mention). On my computer you
can do this through Control Panel / Programs / Uninstall a program. It's a
very easy process and you should be able to see all programs identified
clearly.
