Excel 2007 and Excel 2002 colour palette

I have modified a previous version of excel using Excel 2007 and reformat the
cells with light grey colour from the theme(2007).

When I re-opened it in Excel 2002, the colour in the worksheet changed to a
darker grey. I realised that it's because Excel 2002 colour palette does not
have that particular colour that is in Excel 2007.

My question is how can i import or copy the colour palette from Excel 2007
to Excel 2002 so that light grey is recognized in Excel 2002.

Thank you.

Hi,

You can't. Excel 2007's palette is 16 million colors, Excel 2002 has 56
total colors.

What you can do: In Excel 2003 not the color's position in the palatte. In
Excel 2007 choose Office Button, Excel Options, Save and at the bottom of the
window click Colors and set the color for the position which is causing the
problem.
