I have loaded XP onto my sony vaio that was running 98. I have ended up with a dual boot system with 98 on C: partition and XP on the D: partition. I want to delete the old 98 completely - dare I do this and if so how

==================

Step 1: Boot into Win98 and determine the drive & folder where Win98 is
installed.
Step 2: Boot into WinXP and determine the drive & folder where WinXP is
installed.
Step 3: Rename the Win98 folder to something else.
Step 4: Wait a week.
Step 5: If all is well, delete the Win98 folder.
Step 6: If the dual boot option bothers you, unhide & edit c:\boot.ini and
remove the offending line.
