i cant get my desktop icons back

E

ellen

this might be a stupid question, but...
I had to reset my computer, and when it restarted some of
my desktop icons were missing. Just the first 4 important
ones, like my computer. Does anyone know how to get these
back?
I can't even remember what all the 4 icons were. I know
there was 'my computer', internet, i think network or
something, and another one i can't remember. But it
wasn't recycle bin.
please help 8(

Select the Start Menu; when My Computer is displayed, right-click it; then
select "Show on Desktop".
There are other icons with the same features.

Ellen,

Right Click on your desktop select Properties.

When the Window comes up select the "Desktop" tab and then click on
"Customize Desktop".

Place a tick next to the "Desktop Icons" you want e.g My Computer, My
Documents etc.
