On my old laptop, I can only see my own wireless network. It connects
immediately and has a strong signal. It is secured, and uses a password key
I just bought a new laptop and suddenly there are half a dozen wireless
networks in my vicinity. Whenever I try to connect to mine, the signal is low
and it drops and immediately connects me to one of the other networks that is
not secured. It also has a low signal and drops me.
I've tried disconnecting the other one and deleting it from the list, but it
keeps coming back and trying to connect. I've tried to repair, re-connect,
anything I can think of but it keeps doing it. I've also reset my router.
What am I missing, that one laptop connects easily and without problem, but
the other one doesn't?
