I cannot access any printers

Hi,
when i load windows at the logon page an error comes up saying
spoolssv.exe has encountered an application error talking about the
instruction referenced a memory area and it could not be read.
When i get into windows either i have no printers showing in the printers
section or it will not let me access them saying that the spooler isn't
running.
I've tried restore witthout sucess.
Any help would be gratefully received

Have you tried starting the spooler?

From the command prompt, type:
net start spooler
