I can not send an e-mail

I would like an answer to the question: Why do I have to mess around with
Windows e-mail at all? I have two e-mail accounts already. One from my
college and one from a cable company. Windows just causes too many problems
for me.

Windows Mail is not an email account, it is an email program.
You could use your existing accounts with Windows Mail if
you prefer POP mail over webmail. It's strictly a matter of
personal preference.

Where the difficulty comes in with webmail users is that most
webmail providers haven't bothered to provide a means for
setting their mail service as the default for Vista. This makes
it inconvenient when you click on a MailTo link on a website.
