HTML grayed out in Outlook 2003

I'm using Outlook 2003 and I noticed that all messages
sent to me in HTML format are shaded gray in the preview
pain and when I read them. They even print that way when I
pront them. When I click on rely, they change to white
like normal.

I ask other people and theirs is still white and doesn't
seem to do this. Any idea how I did this and how I can
change it back?

I noticed if I open one of these messages and go to
Edit==>Edit Message I can then go to Format==>plain text
and it will turn white like normal. Must be the way my
system is trying to view HTML email messages.
