HPPSCAN.EXE not found

(HP scanjet 3570c) Problem started after I upgraded to XP, when I try to use
my scanner in a program I get this message 'HPPSCAn.EXE not found. Verify
that HP Scanning software directory is correct in HPPS32.INI or run set up
again.' New to computers and don't know what to do from this point on. I
tried to run set up again and still get message.
