HP 4050tn in 2000 AD environment

Rod

I have installed an HP LJ4050 as a shared printer on my
Windows 2000 server with AD. My XP and win2k workstations
work fine when installing the drivers. But, I am having
trouble adding additional drivers for my 98 and NT 4.0
clients. I have download the appropriate drivers for each
OS, but have had no success. I didn't have any problems
adding additional drivers to my HP LJ III, of course the
drivers for this printer were already on my win2k server
disk.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Rod

Rod,

I have the exact same printer in my 2k AD network

I didnt have a problem like that, i just added the alternate os drivers the
normal way. If you cant do that you could just install the drivers on the
win98/NT4 clients, if that doesnt work i daresay soemthing is wrong with the
drivers.
