How to understand USB displays in device manager

Does this mean my PC has 4 root hubs?

How many USB ports does your PC have? Check with the motherboard manual so as
to be sure that you "account" for every USB ports (some computers have ports
left out!)


Since there are 4 USB root hubs, it seems that the PC is detecting 4 root
hubs, each with a possibility 2 ports. 4 x 2 = 8 ports
