USB Port

Hey, my computer says I have no USB ports when I try to
set up my cam...I have installed all of the drivers that
came with my motherboard, it's an ABIT AT7-MAX2
motherboard. On the device manager under Univesal Serial
Bus Controlers I have listed...

USB 2.0 Root Hub
USB Root Hub
USB Root Hub
VIA Rev 5 or later USB Universal Host COntroller
VIA Rev 5 or later USB Universal Host COntroller
VIA USB 2.0 Enhanced Host COntroller

None of them have exclimation marks or problems.

When I installed Windows XP a file called OEMBIOS.BIN
would not install from the CD...could that be a problem
and/or fixed some how?

Thanks for any help
Alex

If USB is listed under device manager as you show above, then your
machine has USB ports. How are you trying to setup your camera?
How many USB connections do you have?

Also, make sure your USB ports are TURNED ON from within CMOS setup.
I have had experience where the USB ports show up under device manager
but were turned off in CMOS. That effectively shuts them down.

You have USB2.0 did you download these drivers from SP1?? If you
didn't then you need to. If the right drivers are installed but the
ports aren't working then you need to remove them, reboot and reinstall
the drivers. Do this after checking your BIOS setttings.
