I bought a reconditioned Dell Optiplex computer and I'm trying to figure out
if it has
USB installed and if it does what version if contains. When I click on
View system information and Device manager Universal Serial Bus controllers
it gives me four icons with - Intel (R) 82801BA/BAM USB Universal Host
Controller - 2442
- Intel (R) 82801BA/BAM USB Universal Host Controller - 2444
- USB Root Hub
- USB Root Hub

Looks like you have USB 1.1.

This is a helpful site for USB questions: http://usbman.com/

Yes you have USB installed. The type number referes to an Intel chip which
is an OHCI controller, or in other words, USB1 only. You should find 4 USB
ports, but it may be that not all have been brought to connectors on the
outside.

That chip also includes AC97 sound.
