how to turn on offline printer

I restarted my computer and my default printer [a lousy
xerox] is listed as "offline" and nothing prints. I want
to place the printer on line so that I can print. how
can I do this? thanks/

Try going to start, control panel, choose printer and other hw., choose view
installed printers, right click on printer icon and choose use printer on
line.
