How to set up mailserver for auto acccount setup?

I tried to set up my mail server to be able to work with auto setup.
I found SSL is a must, so I enabled it, but no success.
What the other requiremets of my server works fine with auto account setup?
(I think mailboxes need to be on primary MX, and SSL)

I am using hMailServer. I think it is an outlook feature, so this is a best
place to ask how it works exactly.

if you are talking about outlook 2007's auto discover feature, you just need
to configure an xml file. AFAIK, SSL is only a requirement for Exchange
server, not pop3 and imap.

hMailServer is not an Outlook application. Have you read the help files on the site for hMailServer?
