How to send faxe?

I am trying to send faxes with the built in modem in my Sony notebook,
running Windows XP professional, SP1. I configured the service according to
the instructions, but I keep getting the 'line is busy' message, while I
know the line is fine. Any ideas?

Byte, thanks for responding. It turned out, that for whatever reason my
dialer was working too fast. I ended up adding a few commas in front of
the number to be dialed, right after the area code, and that solved the
problem. Just for future reference...
