How to restore

M

Hi, I don't know how this happened, but there are some things 'missing' from
my taskbar, start tab, eveything. The ones I know about are:

MSPaint, Pinball, and the calculator.

If I search for Paint, it comes up, says it's in the C:/Windows/System32
folder, and it opens it for me, but that's the only place I see it.

How can I restore them to where they were? (As for pinball and the
calculator, I can't even find them)

Thanks for any help!

I don't quite follow what you say, but;
The programs that show on the left panel when you press the 'start' button
are only the programs that have been used recently and will change.
To access, say, 'Paint' you would click 'start' button / 'All Programs' /
'Accessories' / Paint.
If you then use 'Paint' a few times then it will show on the left panel when
you press the 'start' button.

Calculator should be C:\WINDOWS\system32\calc.exe
Pinball folder should be C:\Program Files\Windows NT\Pinball

Thank you, Patrick,

I wasn't very clear, I agree. What I meant was not the most recently used
files when I click start, what I should have said is when I do the start/all
programs/accessories, it's gone. It was there up until about 2 weeks ago.
Same goes for the pinball and the calculator. (What the heck did I do?!?!)

I need to know how to restore these files (I'll check for the pinball and
calc in a sec) back to the start/all programs/accessories place where they
should be.

Found them by searching (as you suggested), and just created a shortcut to
my desktop. Thank you!!
