Calculator and Paint are missing

Missing from my Accessories are MS Paint and Calculator. They were there
previously. I can open Calculator by going via help, but can't find where it
is stored to create a shortcut. The same applies to MS Paint. Can anyone
suggest a remedy?

Mike,

Create a shortcut to the following, and place in your Accessories folder:
Calculator - c:\windows\system32\calc.exe
MS Paint - c:\windows\system32\mspaint.exe

Restore the items in Accessories and System Tools:

Many thanks for that Ramesh, it worked a treat.
Can you tell me, is this a common problem with XP and user profiles? and
does it occur with other programmes which are not MS related?

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the feedback. This is a common problem but the cause is unknown.
This usually occurs with the Accessories and Admin Tools folders.
