Missing MS Paint

running Windows XP Home Edition
there is no Microsoft Paint Program
i looked under Start>Program Files>Accessories and there was nothing there

i was told to go under Start and click on Run and type in Regedit and go to
Paint and delete the registry for it so that it rebuilds and re-installs the
next time i try to Open Paint... but there was no registry at all for me to
re-build

is there any install file i can use or how else would i get MS Paint back
without using my XP disc to re-install windows? due to me not knowing where
my XP disc is at, that's not really an option

Go to Start > Run and type: mspaint.exe , and hit enter.
If the Paint program opens, it is still installed. To create
a Desktop shortcut:

1. Right-click on your Desktop and select NEW > SHORTCUT
2. In the Create Shortcut box type: %SystemRoot%\system32\mspaint.exe , and click Next.
3. Type in a name for the shortcut, such as Paint, then click Finish.
4. A convenient shortcut to Paint will appear on your Desktop.

If Paint will not launch, you'll need to reinstall it:

Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs >
Add/Remove Windows Components > Accessories and Details > Details >
Accessories Details to reinstall Paint.
