IE, calculator and MS paint disappear

Internet Explorer will disappear from my start menu and I can't find the file
to open it anywhere, even searching. I can still open it by opening a html
file like some program's company website. Calculator and MS Paint will also
disappear completly. I have to reinstall these 3 using my XP installation CD.
Then they keep vanishing. I'm pretty sure this doesn't all happen at once. I
haven't noticed a particular order pattern.

Start, Run and type IEXPLORE.EXE
You can create a shortcut to %Programfiles%\Internet Explorer\IExplore.exe
and place in Start Menu or Pin it.

The Accessories program group is not displayed on the All Programs menu in
Windows XP:
