My calculator is missing. How could this happen?

After defragmenting the hard drive, I tried clicking on the shortcut to the
windows calculator and found that it was missing. Tried searching for it and
found nothing. Tried downloading a free calculator and can't open it (or
don't know how) because it is a .PF file.

Did you search for calc.exe? What happens when you go to "Start" -> "Run" and
type calc then hit enter?
