HELP!!! Missing Calculator

R

RTP

I recently went to use my XP calculator
(start/programs/accesories/calculator) only to find it had
disapeared. Tried searching under 'calculator' but
nothing found on hard drive. It has been there before,
ive used it many times. This is really bugging me. I
know i could download a 3rd party calc, and i have
a 'proper' handheld calculator, but i want to know whats
happened here!!! Can anyone help???

Have you tried uninstalling then reinstalling it from the Add Remove WIndows
Components option in Add/Remove?

If you want to find it, it should be located in the c:\windows\system32
folder. From there, you can right click, send it to the desktop and you'll
have your shortcut back.

I also have this very same problem but I cannot seem to find the executable anywhere. I have looked in the system 32 folder. I have run a search for "calc.exe" and "calc". I have looked on the hard drive and the XP disc. No luck. Is this a common occurence or did the install not go as advertise
