Somehow the MS Calculator has gone "missing" on my XP home edition machine.
I did a search and it didn't turn up.

Is there a software program somewhere that I can download the calculator
program from?

Any suggestions?

Hi Colleen,

Try this, r-click the desktop and select new>shortcut. Type "calc" no
quotes. If that brings up a box that says type a name for this shortcut,
name it what you will and click finish. That should put a shortcut on the
desktop. If that brings no joy, go to control panel and double click
add/remove. Go to add/remove windows components. Maneuver through till you
find calculator and if it is listed, remove it. Reboot and then go back and
add calculator again. Have your XP disk at hand.

Did you search for "calc.exe"? That is its name.

Cheers,

If you come up negative on the other posts, open control panel,
add/remove programs, add/remove windows components, accessories,
details button, (accessories, detail button) - second time, then see
if the checkbox next to Calculator is checked - if not check it and
click OK, OK, etc etc etc - calculator should then show up.
