how to get back windows Key

I recently bought a new pc that came with Windows XP-pro.
after i placed the oem number sticker on the side of the
pc but when my kid play with it and he pealed it off the
pc and now i don't know where it is. my problem is that
i am going to reformat my hard drive and i don't have the
key. i still have the booklet and the cd but can't going
after 30days. where can i find this info in the registry
if i restore my hard drive image?
any help are greatly appreciated.
