How to enable Switch Users & Standby!!

To Enable Fast User Switching, follow this steps:
1. While log on as an administrator, open user accounts in Control Panel
2. Click the Change The Way Users Log on or Off
3 Select Use Fast User Switching and then Click on Apply Options

That's it When you click on Start you should havd an option to Log Off the
current User and you should be able to Switch Users.

For some reasons, my new DELL laptop (XP professional SP2) does no have SWITCH USERS item in Welcome screen. I have two accounts on my system - one as Administrator and other as Limited User for everyday use. How do I Switch Users if it is not on the screen?.

Also, a friend has recently reset his HP-Compaq laptop (XP home edition) but now he can't get standby facility when logging out. how to get this back?

Any help would be appreciated.
