how to delete virus

My shared folder has some strange vbs files. The names have a bunch of
whitespace after the name and end with .vbs. I think they may be virus. I
can't delete thm. Right click has no delete option and dragging them to
recyling bin can't get rid of them.

What does a scan with a current antivirus (post-2002 version using
updated definitions) show? Don't have one? Why not? Get one and install
it immediately. If you have a virus that immediately breaks antivirus
software, try going to an online virus scanning site like:

http://www.housecall.trendmicro.com

Also, try deleting the files in Safe Mode. You still should have an av
installed and scan with it, though.
