How to create a XP installation disc?

I need to format my laptop c drive to start fresh.

I don't have my XP installation disc or even a system restore disc. How can
I create a XP installation disc from Windows to use as a bootable
installation disc once I format the c drive?

what about Bootdisk.Com ? They claim to have XP bootdisks and fresh install
disks Whether its legal or even REAL is something else.

I have a legal installation already running on the laptop. I would like to
use the same software to reinstall after the format. It's not from air... I
already have it installed.

I moved counties and just don't have the CD here.

I had hoped there would be a function within XP to create a back up /
reinstall disc...

you can not create a disk from air, you either need to purchase a new cd or
go to the laptop manufacture and ask to replace the install cd's.

What Carey said to do is the best you'll get because chances are If you dont
have the CD you probably don't have the activation code either eh?

Why? How do you know? Although it's sometimes necessary, the need to do this
is rare.

You can't. Contact your system documentation or your laptop manufacturer for
instructions on how to do this.

Unfortunately you can't do what you want. Either contact the PC vendor
for replacement software, get the CD(s) from where they are or buy a copy.

You can't make a full installation CD from within WinXP. You'll need
to obtain a replacement CD.

If it was a retail license and you have proof of purchase:
