Oh my gosh - I just realised I'm 50. Where has all the time gone? I still have on my office wall, a picture of my eldest when she was about a week old - she is now 23 and in the picture she is smaller than the teddy bear next to her that was a present (she has actually grown a bit since!)

Mind you - I wouldn't change too much. Us 50 year olds went through the right times for many things - cue rose coloured specs - 20 years ago, you could still fix your car with a fag paper and a half a boy scout, jobs were plentyful and I wasn't worried about my pension. 30 years ago, beer was cheap, but I can't remember how much due to repeated alcohol poisoning.
But one thing is for sure - I wouldn't, under any circumstances, go back to being a teenager.

Anybody else????

Why is it when you're 14 you want to talk 30 and when you're 30 you actually tend to talk 14?

Tis a funny old life :D

btw, welcome to the forum system32_freak :)

I used to worry about getting older, but you cant stop time (if you can let me know first!). My 40th was clebrated with friends, tried a few drinks i have never had before and got totally wasted, even stopped crunching for a few days!

As for my 41st, well may even throw a party:D

Yeah, Know what you mean
I remember, when I broke my back the main deciding factor in wether I wanted to have steel rods in my spine or just let it heal naturally even though it would mean forever in hospital *shudder*
was the loss of flexibilty that would result from having the steel sh*t in my back.
Never regreted it either
I may not be able to walk too far,
But I can still touch my toes in high heels.
Now there's vanity for you
