I don't think we've had this poll before, so the results should be pretty interesting :)

If I've missed any big ones from the list then please let me know :thumb:

Norton 360, Windows Defender and Threatfire pro. All run along happily together with no conflicts.

That's because Panda is crap and will let almost everything through. You think you do not have a problem until you scan it withg a proper product and then find out that everybody and his dog has left you a gift and is tracking you through the net.

Seriously, I have had to fix so many Panda jobs, the software is as effective at keeping youor pute clean as the real animals are at breeding/survival, basically a very hit and miss affair and requires a lot of human intervention.

Bin it and use Spybot S&D, SpywareBlaster, AD AWare and AVG Anti spyware and AVG anti virus. Personally I use them all as you cannot rely solely on just one product to cover all the demons. Since i have used these I I run the scans every few weeks and have not had any issues. Now have many friends and family doing the same and all are now safe with adds/pop ups and other crap. All these products are free.

Hey guys,

Im using hitmanpro for all my anti virus / spyware stuff its imba.

hitmanpro is a program that will allow you to select which scanners u want to use from the build in scanners, and automatic runs them for you keeps them updated and has the ability to shutdown the pc when its all done.
( this is especially nice whenever you go to sleep and just put it on so you dont have to wait for your pc to scan and finish just turn on the program and the next morning its already done and shut down for long time ).

build in scanners are ( you have choice which u want to use 1 or more )

Anti Spyware;
Prevx CSI free
CWshredder
Ad-Aware
Spybot search and destroy
Spy sweeper
Ewido anti spyware
Spyware Doctor
Sunbelt counterspy

Anti virus; ( its recommended to only use 1 anti virus program else you get conflicts )
NOD32
MC affee
Trend micro sysclean

Program works really great and best of all its free of charge. It can also put some sort of special protection on firefox or IE if u want 2.

Other then this im also using windows defender and Piriform Ccleaner ( tool to clean your hard disks also works great ). my choice of anti virus is nod32.

my config:

Windows Vista Ultimate
Intel Core 2 extreme QX6850
Nvidia 680i Sli motherboard
2 GB Extreme Performance 800MHz Low-Latency DDR2 SDRAM
2x 160GB WD Raptor 10.000 RPM ( raid 0 )
Nvidia 8800 GTX Graphic card
Ageia Physx processor
Killer gaming NIC
Alienware Liquid Cooling
IE 7

( Edit: You can download hitmanpro at www.hitmanpro.nl click on the english flag in the right top corner for english ).

I'm stuck between a few to be honest. I have Windows Defender only because it comes with Vista, but Spy S and D seems to be a lot more effective and seems to pick a hell of a lot of things up that Defender misses.
