Hi,

We have a outlook email account that on an average 1300 mails. We move these
manually manually to a PST.
1. Can you please let me know how many mails can a PST hold. Is it based on
Size or number of mails. The estimated size of each mail is 15 KB.

2. I want to set a rule which moves the all the mails to the PST leaving
current days mails in the inbox.

Any Assistance is greatly Appreciated.

Gopal

A PST is based on size, not number of emails.

What version of Outlook?

For Outlook 2002 (XP) and earlier, the PST can grow to 2 GB although I
wouldn't recommend allowing that as it becomes either flakey or corrupt. I'd
advise about 1.5 or 1.6 GB instead. For Outlook 2003 & 2007, it can grow
quite large.

Hi Kathleen,

Thank you for the information.

I would like to know if there is any way i sent a rule that automatically
Archives previous days mails with out me changing the date.

This has to run exactly at a certain in the day.

Your assistance is appreciated.

Regards
Gopal

You can set autoarchiving to be done daily which would be every 24 hours. As
for rules, I'm not sure they allow for a specific time to be added. What
version of Outlook do you use?
