How do you insert an overline or bar in an equation using Word 200

Symbols with bars over them do not copy over to Powerpoint 2007 from ones
produced using the equation editor in Word 2003. In Word 2007, it is not
clear how the "overline" symbol can be used.

You are right: it seems as if you cannot paste Microsoft Equation 3 objects
into PowerPoint 2007. However, in PowerPoint, you can insert an equation
object via the Insert Object dialog box.

In the new equation editor of Word 2007, you'll find an overbar by clicking
the Accent button in the Structures group on the Equation Tools Design tab.
