I cannot send emails - when I run a test of the account
settings I get this error message: "unable to log on to
the outgoing mail server..." I've checked the server
address is correct. The internet provider will not give
me any help as they say it is a Microsoft problem. The
provider refuses to support the software.

Incoming emails work fine.

Help!!

Check, check, and recheck ALL your email account
information in Outlook. Really sounds like some setiing
is incorrect.

Have you set your server to authenticate? On the server tab of your account
settings, check the box that your server requires authentication.
