How do I set up faxing on printer/scanner/fax?

We recently had MicroSoft office reinstalled on our computer, after having
problems with our computer. We are able to scan documents and print, again.
However, we can not use our fax portion of our 3-in-one printer/scanner/fax
machine. We had this capacity prior to the reinstallation of the software.
Any step by step direction on how to get our fax ability back?

Some fax all-in-ones let you fax by printing to the fax printer part of
the device. You may be able to do that straight away.

However, it sounds as if you were probably using something that looked
more like a Word facility. In that case, your all-in-1 may have come
with software that installed an addin for use from Word and/or other
Office Applications. If so, it's possible that that your Office
re-install has "lost" the Addin and that you will either
a. need to look for it - perhaps in the folders containing any other
software related to your all-in-1 and/or reinstall your all-in-one's
software - and reinstall the addin (or whatever it is) or
b. reinstall your printer software from scratch and see if its fax
facility is reinstalled. (I got the immpression that so far you have
"only" reinstalled Office)
