HOW DO I SEND FAX THROUGH IR

I have an IBM notebook (T30) with IR, and my mobile phone
Siemens has a modem. I enable my mobile phone modem for
sending fax, the a message said there is no dail tone. I
check the phone & modem in Control panel which can found
my mobile phone modem and test it is OK. So how can I do
to have sending fax through IR?

Faxing using Windows 2000 fax requires an analog modem and telephone line
connected to the computer.
1. First you need to confirm the fax modem can be recognized by Windows 2000
fax. For this GoTo My Computer > Right-click > Manage > Device Manager. You
must see your modem here.
2. Then you need to ensure a telephone line is connected to the modem. There
is no way to verify this except manually checking for it.
