How do I retrieve Outlook 2003 emails when downgrading to Outlook.

I tried the 60 day 2003 Office trial. It was a lot slower compared to Office
97 so when the trial was over I removed it and returned to Office 97. Now I
cannot open any of the emails from that 2 month period. I have tried Outlook
express and Outlook 2001.

The Outlook 2003 PST format is not backwards-compatible with earlier versions

Thanks.
But it looks like that requires installing Outlook 2003 back onto my system.
It refuses to install and the installation always ends with a fatal error.
However, I did get the trial version of 2007 to install. Unfortunately, most
of the commands (like send, export, etc.0 are disabled. I am trying to figure
out how to save what I can at least view.
