How do I make an ISO file from a bootable CD ?

I have machines with Nero and Roxio CD burning software. Neither of
these packages seem to be able to make an ISO file from a bootable CD.

What software do people use ?

Nero - Oddly - keeps these things on the Recorder menu. Copy Disk
includes an 'Image' page which will make an Image file; then Burn Image
will burn a CD from one.

If you are making a true Disk Image (commonly referred to as an ISO),
then it is a sector-by-sector exact copy of the original CD. Hence,
if the original CD was bootable, then the copy will be as well. If it
is NOT, then you are not doing something correctly.

Look up "Images" in your help menu in whatever software package you
are using and it should describe how to do it correctly.
