How do I customize the auto-preview font?

The current auto-preview font is defaulting to 8 pt Segoe UI. I would like to
change it to another font. I can do it for the individual folders in the
Inbox, but would like to make a global/default change.

+1.
How to change Segoe, 8 to Windows XP defaults EVERYWHERE in Outlook 2007
at once?
(menus, toolbars, settings and other windows, help, and everywhere else?....)

did you change it in tools, options, mail format, fonts? otherwise, there is
no magic one stop way to change it - - try copying and renaming the font you
like to the one you don't.

I've used Customize Current View to the look of most of the e-mail, but the
reading pane still uses the horrid font in the headers.

I've also used Tools Options Other Advanced Options... to change the Data
Navigator font to Tahoma 8pt.

I moved the Segoe fonts from my "Windows\Fonts" directory to a new directory
called "Windows\Fonts unused" and then restarted Outlook. I got an installer
window up, perhaps it was trying to fix the fonts, but it then let me in to
the application. Things have improved quite a bit, but in the Reading Pane,
the message title and from items are still looking horrid (and the toolbar
button labels still seem to be in the old font). I wonder if this is about
font sizes as well as font faces?

Anyway - if anyone can improve on this, I'll be glad to learn more...
