How do I animate an object to flash continuously

Hi I am trying to get an object to flash continuously whilst the slide is
displayed but can only get it to flash once. Does anyone know how I can get
it to flash continuously?

After you add the blink(emphasis) effect, right click on the effect, click
Timing.
Set the repeat to Until end of slide.
