Problem with embedded Flash in PowerPoint 2007

Hi

When embedding flash in Powerpoint, it seems to be standard that in normal
and slide sorter view you cannot see the flash object. It only appears when
you run the slide in slideshow view. With previous versions of Powerpoint we
got round this by grouping the flash animation with a picture (of the first
frame of the animation) in front of it. In slideshow view the picture will go
to the back behind the flash.

The problem we are having is that it seems that in Powerpoint 2007 you
cannot edit the order or group a flash object with a picture. Does anyone
know why this is or if there is a way around it?

In PowerPoint 2007, you cannot make group or edit orders activex object with
other elements.

But you have alternative ways. If you wanna group you flash object and a
picture, just don't insert the picture directly. You can insert pictures from
Developer - Controls - Image (ActiveX Control). Now the image object and your
Flash object can be set orders and be grouped.

I can group and order the objects, but I can't get the flash to jump infront
of the image when in slideshow mode. Any ideas?
